A beautiful riverside garden with fabulous open views. We have mature trees, topiary, borders and several relaxing seating areas in different styles. The house and garden are also used as a photoshoot location.

The Love Loughborough Gardeners’ Fair is now an established series of Sundays markets selling shrubs, perennials, bedding plants, house plants and every other type of plants and gardening paraphernalia. The markets take place monthly throughout the growing season starting in April running through to October. Plus there’s also a festive market at the end of November selling Christmas trees, wreaths and plants.

2 High View Ave: Almost ⅓ of an acre, cottage style, set mainly to lawn with several mixed borders which contain a variety of herbaceous perennials, roses and bulbs. There are fruit bushes, a wildflower area, pond and small woodland of snowdrops and bluebells. Seating dotted around give views of the different areas. Home Farm: Large garden behind old farm near village centre which is defined by its trees. The old garden is divided by laurel, beech and yew hedges explore it to find the orchard, the old cart shed pergola, ‘Green Man’ pond, rose garden and mixed borders. Further on, it merges into an ornamental wilderness with turf mound and ponds. Rose Cottage: Densely-planted with colourful wildlife-friendly plants. Many features and different zones add unique interest. A wildlife stream meanders down between several ponds and bog areas.

Small cottage style garden with courtyard featuring large pots and raised beds. Flowering shrubs and trees within colourful mixed borders and island beds which inc perennials, roses and bulbs. Sit in our raised summerhouse or on the deck area with its lavender hedge and take in the garden. Many scented leaved pelargoniums are raised in the greenhouse, as are annuals for the low dry stone walled border.

This garden represents the personality of this Georgian house (not open), classical and formal at the front and friendly and a bit crazy at the back. A walled cottage style of about an acre with an abundance of plants and roses leading onto wildflower meadows with walking paths. There are also three ponds each one also with a different personality.

This year's event takes place from 10am-4pm on Stamford Meadows and there will be lots to see and do, a range or garden plant stalls, bedding, annuals, perennials, veg packs and more. Fun for all the family with fingers crossed for an flypast with a Spitfire.
